water valve

Not a good answer. You have a great water sensing product but without a means to shut it off it’s semi useless. Adding an auto shutoff will not compromise security.

@shammack33 I will be the first one to admit I am nowhere near a security expert, but seeing Ring and ADT get hacked, I think Emily's response has some merit, but to a point. One way flag sent out of the SS ecosystem seems pretty simple enough and very secure to me. So....water sensor goes off, SS sends a one digit flag to Moen shut off unit signifying "hey, water sensor alarmed, shut off the valve."  Same scenario t shut off my IoT indoor and out door lights for an alarm event to light the house up like a Christmas tree!
