Whats going on with the smart lock
Are all the users with door lock problems dealing with software issues or install problems?
Is this issue seen by Simplisafe as a customer induced issue so they are not fixing this.
And no mechanical bypass to the digital use of the look. This is a real deal breaker for me.

@onevw My doorlock is working fine. Had an issue about a year ago but support was able to trouble shoot with me and all is fine. I contacted 3 others (small group I know) and no issues reported. Also, if you mean by "no mechanical bypass" unlocking it or locking it by hand, that works too. Are you posting about the original lock or the new series 2 lock?

I’m also having smart lock issues:
-I get terrible battery life. I replace them every three months or so.
- they don’t seem to update or calibrate even after contacting Simplisafe directly and walking though the process with one of the techs.
-they stop working unexpectedly. Last night I got locked out of my house without warning. (I stay pretty on top of things with all the battery changing, it wasn’t a battery issue just something wrong with the system itself) A Simplisafe person couldn’t help me over the phone and I had to call a locksmith. I’m going to switch to Ring.
