Smartlock locking/unlocking alerts

We’ve been having this problem on and off. Before hand we had to recalibrate it before they sent us a new one, and the new one worked great for a bit. But now it’s giving the phantom lock/unlock notifications but only for iOS, I use an android and haven’t had this issue but my wife with an iPhone has. Is there a fix for it?
