Smart Lock Back Cover Plate
Hello, I am installing a new smart lock on my front entry door. After installing a satin nickel handleset, the wood door was stained.
The current deadbolt lock has a square shape. When I remove it and mount the oval pin pad, the unstained outline will show, which would be super ugly!
I think the simplest solution is to mount a satin nickel-back cover plate under the pin pad. Has anyone resourced suppliers for this hack, or do you have any ideas to share? Thanks!
Maybe SimpliSafe should offer some cover plates in the future as Ecobee thermostats do.

been battling this same issue and it seems the only supplier with back plates is Lockly - if you found another would be really interested.
