iOS App Occasionally Freezes When Attempting to Livestream Cameras

We’ve received reports of some users being unable to load a livestream for their Outdoor Camera, Outdoor Camera Series 2, or Smart Alarm Indoor Camera on the iOS version of the SimpliSafe® app. When attempting to livestream these cameras, the SimpliSafe® app freezes.

 

Our engineering team is working on resolving the issue. If you are experiencing this, please check in here and we’ll let you know when the fix is rolling out.

UPDATE: This issue has now been RESOLVED via an app update. If you were experiencing this issue, please update your SimpliSafe® app to the latest version in the iOS App Store. Alternatively, you can also delete the app from your phone and then redownload it to get the update. If you continue to experience this issue after updating, please let us know!
