Simplisafe signs and decals
Beats me why we should pay a few dollars/cents to acquire a SimpliSafe standing sign and some decals as this serves as free advertising for the company.
I wrote them to state that these promo items should be part and parcel of any part of system order delivery and for free. The response was for me to call customer support... a bit tedious a task considering they want to hear us request for it.
Oh well - Seems it back to the previous owner sign that says in bold - ADT.

@StratManLou As a former ADT customer of 9 years and a Simplisafe customer of almost 10 years, my advice is that if you don't stay with SS, don't go with ADT. They are terrible and a contract that is the devil.
That said, over the years many customers have debated on whether its better to use a SS sign and decals, another company, a generic or none at all. I fall into the "generic camp" and paid $15 for a generic sign. A drive by potential intruder knows my house has an alarm system but not necessarily which one. yes, easy enough to find out with the outdoor cameras and doorbell cam but I personally think generic sign is the way to go.
If you are set on a sign, call SS. All they can say is no. For what its worth, I believe SS is the best in home security overall.

Hi StratManLou,
We do already include decals and yard signs as part of every system package! If you didn't receive them in yours, let me know by direct message (by hitting the speech bubble icon at the top). I would just need to confirm your delivery address and I can get 'em to you.

But also, don't advertise to any criminals which system you have? I would argue that having the sign of a system that's different from your actual system is probably a better idea so keep that ADT sign planted in your yard!

I would avoid getting the generic decals and signs that one finds at Walmart, Amazon, and Home Depot etc. Thieves know which signs are generic and they may believe you do not in fact have an alarm and are using them to scare them away without having a system. 90% of the time those signs and decals work but a SS sign or decal pretty much guarantees there is a real system there.

Hi 'StratManLou"...I totally agree with your post of a year ago now, but unfortunately the current SS responders (arguably their 'Customer Service' these days) including a supervisor are totally rigid in refusing to even consider 'refreshing' THEIR advertising decals & yard sign for even their long-time subscribers (I'm pushing 10 yrs myself) at anything less than paying full cost (plus profit and s/h of course), not even discounted much less free! I mean how cheap can you get? Actually, I see later in this thread that a David_D of their Admin dept appears to be receptive to shipping you a new set, but with the unmoving frosty attitude I received today, I have to wonder if he was successful with you...or if not, even still employed.
Well, before I go looking for some generic equivalents, guess I'll stick around awhile to see if there's still a 'David' or an equivalent here who might have a different answer and attitude that listens and agrees with us.

@bwhit88 If I could, I would send you my sign and decals for you. Mine are in the basement collecting dust, as is the case with the vast majority of 34+customers I have recommended SS systems over the years. The reasons why are expressed in this thread. There are many, many 3rd party sign sites that sell premade, highly quality signage and decals that will be well suited for your needs, and last much longer than the SS supplied sign. Mine is made of high quality aluminum and paint and looks as good today as the day 7 years ago I bought it. (And in the northern chicagoland area, with our weather, that's saying alot. And, most importantly, my wife approved how it looks against the backround of our house. :-)
The attitude/personality of the SS agent should always be professional, with at the same time we customers have to be careful to remind ourselves there is a human being on the other end of the line too. That said, I would suggest a call back to SS and request a call back, then provide the date and time of the call and politely ask your issue to be escalated and then get a response. Most companies, even if they don't ultimately agree with you or comply your request will appreciate the opporutnity to know an instance where some retraining, or more, is required.
Good luck.

Sooo with the new logo will there be new yard signs and decals created, available for new and existing customers at some point? I see you can still "order" signs and decals with the old logo, which is odd on several levels.

Good grief!! You spend hundreds of dollars on a package and pay a monthly fee and my request for a couple more stickers is denied! Seems if your package has 6 sensors the stickers should match it to show that entry, door or window ,is rigged with a SimpleSafe alarm. 2 stickers for free, big deal!
