Stupid design for the fob . . .
A flat thin device is begging to have the buttons pressed inadvertently, and sure enough, I had to answer an alarm call of which I was unaware because the fob was in my pocket and got “butt dialed”.
This really should have a sliding hard outer shell so it can be safely carried, and only activated when needed.

@paul_kent_ii Most, including myself, would agree with your post. My solution is to never use it, but if you want to and willing to spend just under 15 bucks, there is a solution for you over at Etsy. Just do a search for a SimpliSafe Key Fob Case and take a look. I would have included a link but that is against Community guidelines and SS would have blocked the post.
