Battery low error

Battery shows low despite being fully charged after change out

Hi @kathleenblairrn, 

What device are you experiencing this with? Is it a sensor? Sometimes it may take up to 24 hours for the battery low message for a sensor to clear from the SimpliSafe Mobile App. But to bypass that, you can remove the device from your system and then add it back in again. 

You can remove the sensor from your system by taking the following steps in the SimpliSafe Mobile App:

  1. Select My System from the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen
  2. Choose Device Settings
  3. Select [your sensor]
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and tap X Remove Device

Once removed, you can add the sensor back to your system again, and the low battery message should be gone.
