Hi @kend64 ,

Sounds like there's an issue with your account that is preventing Basic App Control from activating properly. I suggest contacting our Support team to get this resolved.

I have a system installed w/ cameras and am interested in Self Monitoring w/Camera Recordings.

From my account, I click on Monitoring (Upgrade) and am taken to another page to fill out my personal info (name, address, CC info). There is no option to select what kind of monitoring I want, only the most expensive one is presented, ($0.99/day). I'm looking for the cheapest option ($0.33/day).

Is this by design to fool those not paying attention to buy the most expensive option?

@peterwl777 You can upgrade your monitoring plan on the SimpliSafe mobile or web app, but downgrading your plan does need to happen over the phone with our Support team. If you give them a call at 1-888-910-1215, they will be able to change your monitoring subscription of the Self Monitoring with Camera Recordings plan.

You really side stepped my question didn't you?

And because you didn't answer my question, I will assume that the purpose of not providing the lower priced options when trying to upgrade online is exactly as I stated; "...to fool those not paying attention to buy the most expensive option".

And that's underhanded if you ask me.
