How do I check that the monitoring is actually working??

Im skeptical.. I had certain sensors on and did not receive any push notifications. How do I check to ensure everything is set up correctly? FYI the set up options are not clear & instructions are vague.

@Jspataro2 The best way to test your system and check the connection between the Base Station and our monitoring center is by putting your system into Test Mode. If you visit this guide in our Help Center, we take you through the steps of putting your system into Test Mode and testing each individual device.

When you say that you had certain sensors on and didn't receive any push notifications, was your system armed and you didn't receive a push notification when a sensor was triggered? If that is the case, I would check the SimpliSafe mobile app to ensure that alarm push notifications are turned on. This can be done by navigating to My System > Alerts & Notifications > Push Notifications > toggle Alarm Triggered on > Press Save in the top right corner
