Haven't been able to find this on the SimpliSafe website... how much would it cost to add the recording option to my camera? I already have the camera.
$4.99 per month per camera. If you have the 24.99 a month monitoring plan, up to 10 cameras are recorded free If you have the 14.99 monitoring plan and attempt to add 2 cameras, they will automatically up you to the 24.99 plan.
@kenrredden Correct, if you are subscribed to a monitoring plan that includes camera recordings, you will be able to add up to 10 cameras to your account. You can learn more about each plan and what they include in the What are the Service Plan Options article in our Help Center.
@bullseyeguy1 the videos are stored "in the cloud". You can download any video, and as many as you want, to your pc, phone etc. They are kept for 30 days and then deleted. Simplisafe personnel do not have access to the videos, and the monitoring company only has access if you opt in for visual verification. If you have more questions, I suggest you call Simplisafe support.
For all cameras, you can still get Push Notifications through the app, as well as livestreaming. So for the Video Doorbell Pro, you'll still know if there's someone at the door, and you can have a look. Two-way audio works too, so you can speak to them as well!

For all cameras, you can still get Push Notifications through the app, as well as livestreaming. So for the Video Doorbell Pro, you'll still know if there's someone at the door, and you can have a look. Two-way audio works too, so you can speak to them as well!
