Weak RF signal
Your base station has a poor RF signal range when the home has 5/8" plasterboard walls and about 4,500 sq ft home. Signals to outdoor cameras and door sensors behind walls have either no signal, intermittent signal or slow signal. We have moved the base station several times with no success with the recommendations of your customer service. Since our home has 3 keypads, my suggestion would be to put a RF transmitter in all or selected keypads to increase the range of the RF signal output or provide a RF signal amplifier. The range to problem devises are about 40-50 feet away.

Hi @ john49a414,
Where is your Base Station currently located? If multiple devices are experiencing a connectivity issue, that is often due to an underlying issue with the placement of the Base Station. I know you've adjusted its placement a few times, but we recommend putting the Base Station in an open air location, as tucking it away in a closet, cabinet, or on a metal shelf can impact its communication to other SimpliSafe devices. We also recommend putting the Base Station on a non-dense material like glass or wood that is at least 3 feet off the ground.
Also, are there any devices that output a wireless signal around the Base Station? Connection errors can also occur if the Base Station is close to Wi-Fi routers, large televisions, weather stations, or larger Wi-Fi-enabled appliances. If the Base Station is near any of these types of devices, it can help to move it 3-5 feet away, as these devices can disrupt the RF signal between the Base Station and sensors.
We also have a request for a sensor range extender in the Community, which we have submitted to our devs for their consideration. Once we hear any news from them, we'll post an update in this thread.
