No Link to Dispatcher Error Message

I'm having similar issues with my system.  I keep getting the "No Link to Dispatcher" error message and I can't link the system to my WiFi (even though my phone can).  My system has the 2.18 firmware. Since I can't get the basestation to hook up to the WiFi, even if SimpliSafe pushes an update, I can't get it.  :-(

Hi @ShadowDragon,

You seem to be experiencing a different issue, so we broke your comment off into its own thread to troubleshoot further here.

In your case, a No Link to Dispatcher error indicates that the Base Station is not connected to Wi-Fi. Oftentimes, resetting the Base Station can help it re-establish its Wi-Fi connection. If you see the No Link to Dispatcher Warning article in the Help Center, it will take you through the steps of resetting the Base Station.

We also recommend checking that your Wi-Fi network aligns with our system requirements. In order for the Base Station to connect to your network, it must:

  • Broadcast at 2.4GHz
  • The network name and password cannot exceed 31 characters each
  • The network must be configured as WPA2 or WPA2/3 Mixed Mode

To learn more, see the Can't Connect Base Station to Wi-Fi guide in the Help Center for additional troubleshooting steps.
