Lithium AA batteries in all devices that take AA batteries?

I know the Carbon Monoxide detector uses AA Lithium batteries but is there any reason why you can't use Lithium AA batteries in the Siren WS 1000 and Keypad?  I would think they would last much longer.

No reason except cost.  The lithiums should last a little longer, and I don't think they can leak like Alkaline batteries can.  But the increase in battery life is not in line with the increase in cost, unless the device will be in an extreme temperature where the lithiums perform and Alkaline throws up its hands in dismay.
