Keypad Arming Chime Mute?

We have a new system installed. I have programmed an automatic arming to Home mode at 11 at night, then dis-arming to Off in the morning.

The problem is that the keypad in our bedroom chimes (very faintly, but in the range of hearing) the countdown to the automatic arming, and wakes us up (I know... sensitive hearing) if we're asleep at 11.

How to I mute these chimes? Even if all the keypads are muted, that's OK. But arming chimes for automated actions should be mutable.

The best solution for this is to set the EXIT delay to 0 seconds when arming for Home.  Typically there is no reason for any EXIT delay when arming to Home mode, as you are, umm, already Home and don't plan to exit.    When you do it this way, there is no countdown and thus no keypad beeps.

I also have automatic arming to Home set on a daily basis.  (Well before bedtime though).  But it simply arms to Home, with no EXIT delay, and thus no countdown and thus no beeps.  But I get a push notification showing it is armed at the set time.

So in the app, go to "base station settings" and under Home/Exit Delay, set that to 0.   And note that you can still set the "ENTRY" delay under Home to say, 30 seconds.  So if you forget it is armed and open  the door in the morning (before it is disarmed), you'll have 30 seconds to disarm manually.

Perfect response and solution! Thanks. It seems to have been the answer we needed.

Not sure why there's an exit delay for Home anyway, as you mention.

Thanks.

@dp_GA unfortunately the Keypad's Entry and Exit Delays cannot be silenced, but we have submitted this request to our devs!

In the meantime, Pack offers a great workaround by setting the Exit Delay for Home Mode to 0 seconds. That way, your system will automatically arm into Home Mode without hearing the countdown.
