Firmware Update Troubleshooting

I have a 3rd generation base and am trying to update the firmware. It has not been updated in quite some time but everytime I try, it does nothing. My current firmware version is 1.3.4.253 and I know that is quite old. I've tried unplugging the base, removing the batteries, and allowing it to reset. Nothing seems to work. 

Please help.

@chip1252 Suggest you call support and ask them to manually send an update.  You can monitor this on your keypad to see when it is received (enter menu and select check for updates). I once had this issue and support forced the update down to me and got it quickly.

@chip1252 when you try to update your Base Station's firmware, do you see any error message on the Keypad? If you do, that could clue us into what is happening. 

 

And just to confirm, is your Base Station connected to WiFi? A WiFi connection is required in order to update the Base Station's firmware. It can also help to bring the Keypad closer to the Base Station when trying to update its firmware.
