Entry Sensor Not Responding

door sensor fails to respond:

have checked 

battery

internet

reboot

device passes "three-blink" test

    but "not responding" message reappears

@mihkel2011 We converted your comment into its own post so we can continue to troubleshoot here. A "Not Responding" error message can be due to one of two things: the Entry Sensor's battery needs to be replaced, or the sensor and Base Station cannot communicate.

 

We first recommend replacing the battery in the Entry Sensor with a new battery, and then remove the sensor from your system/re-add it to see if that clears the error. You can remove the Entry Sensor from your system in the SimpliSafe® mobile app by going to My System > Device Settings > select [your Entry Sensor] > scroll to the bottom of the page > select X Remove Device. Then, follow the steps in our Entry Sensor installation guide to add it back. 

 

If replacing the battery does not help, try moving your Base Station to a different location that's closer to your Entry Sensor and see if the error message clears. To learn more, see the Entry Sensor Not Responding article in our Help Center.
