Brightness of blue light when armed

I guess I'm posting this as either a way to get a suggestion to Simplisafe or as a way to ask other users what ideas they've come up with to mitigate this issue.  The light that indicates it's armed is really bright at night.  Too bright.  But I don't want to shut it completely off with the toggle switch in the app because I like the visual indicator that it's on so I remember to disarm it when I get up.

So, the suggestion would be to somehow make the brightness on that light adjustable the way the voice prompts and entry chimes are.

But until that day comes, what are some ways some of you have toned down that light without doing something horribly ugly to a rather nice looking base station?

If I wanted to "dim" the light, I would look at products like this to see how they perform.

Thanks.  This looks like a possibility.

We used to use a piece of paper that we just taped together and put it on the bottom and that worked perfectly. Cheap as well lol

Yeah, I was hoping for something a little more "aesthetically pleasing" since the base station is kinda out in the open here.
