our base station has starting making a noise like a door has been opened but they are all closed.  There is no message on the monitor.  Any ideas?

That's great, but... might you elaborate what you did to fix it, on the odd chance the info could help someone else?

I'm having the same issue. How did you resolve it?

@tommyg59 The beeping sound you hear, is it a three-note chime similar to the sound when an Entry Sensor is opened? If it is, you're hearing the Base Station's Trouble Signal.

The Trouble Signal sounds to alert you of any issues with your system (like if a sensor is offline or there's a No Link to Dispatcher error) and will continue to sound until the issue is resolved. If you go to the <!> notification section of your Keypad, it will tell you what the error is.

@nhwinsor It sounds like you're hearing the Base Station's Trouble Signal. This is a three-toned chime that sounds when there is a potential issue with your system. If you look on your Keypad, it will tell you what the problem is; and once it has been resolved, the Trouble Signal will turn off.

You can always turn off the Trouble Signal's sound in the Keypad by going to Menu > System Settings > Trouble Signal and then toggle the setting off as well.

I have 3 keypads and none of them have "Trouble Signal" as an option under System Settings. What other options are there to turn that darn beeping off? You'd think it would be a setting in the app under Base Station Settings, but it's not. :-(

@AnotherUserNameToKeepTrackOf Unfortunately, the Trouble Signal can only be modified using the Keypad, it cannot be changed with the SimpliSafe mobile app.

The Trouble Signal was introduced to the Keypad with firmware 2.10. If your Keypad is not running firmware 2.10 or higher, I would check to see if it has a firmware update available. If an update is not available, our Support team can update your Trouble Signal and send you a Keypad running the latest firmware.

I had same chime from basestation (like a door/window opening)  i pushed every plug in tight, took bs connection cord out, then put it back on. Worked on everything I could think of! Remembered we installed a wireless printer Sun and noticed it was blinking each time the bs chimed. I unplugged the printer and that seems to have solved the porblem. I’ll go back later today and get the printer straight again I hope. I also updated base station. hth
