SS Integration: Limited/One Way: A Good Thing in Some Ways

Over the years many customers, including myself, have asked and begged for more expansive integration with digital assistants and IoT devices.  SS has been very selective and conservative in this area, and it appears in the article linked below a good thing too. Don't get me wrong, I still want a one way flag from SS3 to my Amazon Echo devices when there is an alarm event to turn on my nine indoor and outdoor lights, but this article does make me thankful SS3 is fully encrypted and, for the most part, isolated from the bad old, dangerous world out there.
