New SS CEO sounds off on video privacy

It is interesting that the CEO's comments were prominently posted on the SimpliSafe page in Facebook, but as far as I know, nothing here in the community. I don't use Facebook for anything that is even remotely connected to SimpliSafe, as I don't want to advertise who I am, where I live and what security system I have.

This, and other actions by SS, has the handwriting on the wall that this community, as the web dashboard, is pretty much an afterthought at this point and eventually will no longer exist with the SS phone app and social media your only option.  For a security company, this is indeed an unfortunate direction.
