Live view random cold test

Orbi Mesh router, 2 AP satellites

All brick, steel doors, plaster. 1980 rancher.  In the country boondocks, nearest neighbor with wifi, 75 yards.

Xfinity (Only wired game in the area)

Up - 24Mbs

Down - 350Mbs

Dbm within or below specs

Average -45 to -56 (used to be better🤷)

All blue bars on all cams.

Outdoor cams report just shy of 20 upload

Doorbells report just shy of 10 upload

5 SS outdoor, Solar. Version 1's.

2 SS doorbells. (Supposedly improved wifi antennas) Don't know. Seems improved.

All set for 720p.

Outdoor cams split between two base stations. 3 on one, two on the other. One base in middle, one base south end. All now, self monitored.

Figure out how to patch 2 bases together in one home, I'll consider paying again for videos self monitoring.

(As long as it doesn't increase in $, it's high enough for what you get)

Doorbells are better than the old ones though, once they settle. Occasional slow quirks and live response.

Better video uploads, only a random didn't upload, or black bad Doorbells videos now. (No videos anymore now😉)

All 7 tested individually, opened live in 4 seconds or less. They don't and can't open simultaneously. ( Would be an improvement for USB powered charging people) (think out of the box SS)

Best, 2 seconds on a couple. Not a bad one off cold test.

They will not stay that way.

Inconsistent.

In comparison testing, I opened live view on 5 cheap cams, "simultaneously", in 4 seconds or less.

Best 1.5 seconds opened individually.

Highest 3 seconds-ish.

Similar Dbm -56 outdoors.

They will continue that operation. Consistently. (Barring Beta testing bugs) Which is expected.

Differences in fairness - No base stations, No RF, USB powered, no batteries. Some 2.5k QHD. Four times the pixels of 720p standard HD.

I can run up to 100, as long as my router can handle it. (Probably can't lol) It is handling 21 and other iOT devices quite well though.

If SS results were consistent, I could live with the SS one off cold test operation, if it repeatedly happened. It doesn't.
