Hi!
I just bought a house with a SimpliSafe system already set up. Previous owner does not have the info for the login/pin as they never really used it.
How can I override it to take control of the system and use it?

@cnhunsdon Can they provide you the safe word? If yes, and you have the serial number, a good start. If not, a bit more difficult but call customer service. Also, see if the previous owner willing to get a call from SS if necessary. I am sure you can easily understand why SS would take precautions, and as a current customer, I am very glad that they do. Don't want a stranger calling SS and handing over access to my system. BTW, if SS3, okay but if SS1 or 2, junk it and get a SS3. You can get one for a very good price at Costco, and even better when they are on sale.
