Wireless Outdoor Camera only B&W no color
Just hooked up my wireless outdoor security camera and it only operates in black and white. No color video at all. The camera is mounted so that there is no overhanging trees/structures. It is early evening but no where near dusk, much less dark. Is there a setting that I am missing to get it to display color? This seems pretty useless if there is no color even during the day. My wired outdoor cameras are showing color and one of those is under a covered porch.

Hi @dlmiller3112,
It sounds like your Outdoor Camera is entering Night Vision mode a little early. You mention that there are no overhanding trees or structures by your camera, but was it in a shadow last night when you posted this? If so, that could have triggered it to enter Night Vision early, and I would recommend slightly shifting its placement to move it into a brighter location.
If the camera was not in a shadow, I would recommend toggling and Night Vision setting off and back on again in the SimpliSafe mobile app. It may also help to reboot the camera by taking its battery out and putting it back in again.
