Solid Red Light on SimpliSafe Doorbell After Chime Failure
Having a real struggle here and just trying to get some answers. Started to hear a buzzing sounds coming from my doorbell chime. One of the plunges looks like had an issue, spring was completely off from inside the solenoid. No power to my doorbell cam either.
I subsequently tried:
1. Replace the transformer. -> No Change in Behavior
2. Bypass the chime completely by tying the two leads together instead of connecting them to the chime -> Doorbell Cam still dead.
3. Plug doorbell cam into USB power directly -> Solid red light.
I've checked each endpoint in the circuit and all are reading a little over 17V AC so no issues with the wiring.
What gives?

@jwman92 Do you have a Chime Connector as part of your Video Doorbell Pro's setup? The Chime Connector works to ensure that proper voltage is getting supplied to the Video Doorbell Pro, which in turn can prevent that buzzing sound from coming from the chime box.
If you do not have a Chime Connector, our Support team can send one to you free of charge.
