Simplicam push notifications not working
Hi,
I just added an indoor SimpliCam that my system. However, I can’t get push or other motion notifications from it, but can from other devices and events. Shutter is set active and not closed BTW. Videos are totally available in the timeline inside the app, which is good.
All notification settings for the overall system as well as the camera are turned on, and I’m receiving both email and SMS notifications for arm/disarm, as well as silent alerts for devices enabled as such. We even had notifications for an alarm ( turned out to not be a real intrusion).
Is the camera not designed to send notifications?
Thanks!

I am having the same issue. I think is related to the IOS 16.1 update.
It worked before the most recent update, but I also have upgraded my phone to a new SE 5G Model.
I don't receive any motion push notifications on the Doorbell or Camera now.

Hi @stevenhvogel ,
If you're getting Push Notifications for other events, then it's safe to say that this isn't an OS-level issue.
The Indoor Camera does have a separate Notification setting, under Menu > My System > Camera Settings > Motion Detection. Could you have accidentally disabled that setting?
Edit: I think I know what might be the case here.
Our cameras all send Push Notifications through the SimpliSafe app. However, Camera events do not generate SMS or email alerts. So you'll need the SimpliSafe app with Push Notifications enabled, to get Camera alerts.

Motion Notifications are on for the doorbell and outside camera.
They just aren't working.
Outside Camera is 1.7 Version Firmware and doorbell is 2.6.
