Night time motion detection and range very poor in dark areas.
Night time motion detection does not work without supplemental light like deck lights on first by their own sensor. I have all the sensitivities set high. Wifi signal is -57dbm. Camera is plugged in and mounted about 6.5 to 7' under at deck. Live stream works although without spot lights, about 10ft range at most without on-board lights. On-board spot lights will expose the camera location and range only 15 feet at best, so thats not an option. Still, no detection in the dark, Live stream only. Daytime detection is about 35-40 feet. Firmware version 2.19.6.0 Camera version v1.43.2.18586

OK, Time to edit my post. I tried several mounting areas and finally...I like the performance. The motion detection during the day is a good 35-40 feet. With the camera plugged in, it goes into performance mode and you get some camera rollback which enhances the recording to before the motion sensor gets triggered. The daytime quality is very good and the night vision is best with the more ambiant light. No camera I've seen works in the absolute dark without spotlights. SS is living up to it's claims for sure.
