what is a chime connector and where do i find one

doorbell wont power up yet previous doorbell worked fine with same wired connection and other lights etc on same circuit are working

@jcc3onthehill​ Are you receiving any error messages for your Video Doorbell, or is it just not turning on? 

The Video Doorbell might have arrived with a dead battery that needs to get charged before the doorbell can boot up. I'd leave the Video Doorbell on the mount with the wires connected for about 10 minutes so it can charge up a bit. After 10 minutes, check the Video Doorbell again to see if it will power up.

It could also be that the mounting plate may not have proper contact with the gold pins on the Video Doorbell, which would result in it not getting enough power. Make sure that the mounting plate isn't screwed on too tight so it's bending, as that can prevent solid contact on the gold pins.
