Charged batteries on exterior cameras, now none will reconnect to Wifi

We've had our system for less than a year.  Last month, our garage camera started triggering despite nothing being in the area, and recording for an hour or more.  We unplugged it and brought it into the house to try to reset and it wouldn't reconnect to wifi.  Within a couple of weeks, our other three cameras showed "low battery", and after charging them... none would reconnect to wifi.  Even more frustrating, the same thing is going on with my parents' system in a completely different home.

We had no issues in either house with initial setups and recharging batteries until this recent issue.  Nothing has changed with our wifi settings, routers, or internet service.

We've tried resetting the base, reinstalled the phone app, removing and resetting all of the cameras and trying to re-add.  We've tried adding them back through both the keypad and the app multiple times.  We even tried brand new replacement batteries with fresh charges.

The base station will recognize a camera, and we can name it, but then when the camera tries to connect to wifi in the last step, the blinking white turns to blinking red light.  Every.  Single. Time.  We're at wits end and pretty unhappy that we got less than a year of function for our investment.

If anyone has a last ditch idea, please share.

@acgolfguy823 It sounds like a large update processing. I would suggest having one camera, on a fully charged battery, reinstall. Onc eyou get to the last step, leave it for about 30 mintues to see if an update is completed and connects. If not, call support to troubleshoot.

Hi @acgolfguy823,

Since resetting the cameras didn't help them reestablish their Wi-Fi connection, I would then recommend rebooting your router by unplugging it for 30-60 seconds. And when attempting to reconnect the Outdoor Camera to your Wi-Fi network, it can also help to bring the camera about 5-10 feet away from the router.

But if these tips do not help, the next step would be to reach out to our Support team for additional assistance. They'll be able to take a deeper look into your account and provide troubleshoot your system with you in real time.
