Can I use the outdoor cameras even thought the alarm system is turned off? Want to monitor activity even when not activating the alarm.
looking to replace Arlo cameras with the SimpliSafe outdoor ones, but want to be able to view and see records of the activity even if the alarm is turned off. Can I do this?

@bpedwards Yes, with motion turned on, the outdoor camera will record movement or you can view live whether the system is off, armed to home or away. Additonally, I do recommend you plan on using the available AC kit and plug them in. I have two outdoor cameras and both work fine and with the new "preroll" and "performance mode" features they are very good. Many are reporting issues with the solar panel and just on battery. While SS is working on to fix these issues, if you have AC connectivions, you will be good to go now.
