Cameras “Loading” but connection is “Good”
I am continuously having the same issue with my 5 outdoor cameras where I will go to view a live feed quickly and the circle keeps spinning and the screen will say connecting….loading….and eventually will say retry or troubleshoot. When I troubleshoot there is no flashing light, or light at all, and the connection to the camera is good, and the wi-fi signal is strong. This happens multiple times per day.
In relation to this, during these periods, the cameras aren’t catching activity/motion.
I have made sure that my updates are done, my wi-fi is on and working and correct password. All settings are accurate.
*****One more thing, just last week I had Pandora Bluetoothed to the main tv in my living room and I switched over to the SimpliSafe app on my phone to view an outdoor camera. The music cut out on the tv and started playing on the outdoor SimpliSafe camera. This seems like a big flaw.

@lcirak You left out an important item in your post: who is your ISP and what is your speed down, up and latency? I have Spotfiy, play it often on my Samsung smart TV and view videos at the same time on my phone with my 2 outdoor cameras and or doorbell without issue. Also, how are your outdoor cameras connected, battery only, solar panel or AC? My two OD cameras are connected to AC, which like the solar panels, enables "Performance Mode". Just trying to understand differences and similarities. Also, call support to troubleshoot.

Hi @lcirak ,
When it comes to the Outdoor Cameras, there are actually two different connections you want to be aware of.
First, there's the connection to your WiFi, through the WiFi router. It sounds like as part of your troubleshooting, you were able to perform a Connection Check from the SimplISafe app, and the tool reported that you have a Good connection. So that's great.
But the other connection is the local radio, between the cameras and the Base Station. To resolve, you'll want try moving the Base Station to a different, more open spot, closer to where the cameras are located.
Regarding the speaker situation, that is rather odd, but it sounds like it's just part of how the SimpliSafe app connects to your camera for the 2-way audio feature. So it's not really a flaw, more just a quirk of how that connection works.
