Camera shutter behavior upon disarming

I have three indoor cameras, and upon entering our home when the system is armed and set to "away", all three camera shutters open and the blue lights pulse indicating that they're recording.  I get this, as I understand the system is documenting "who" is disarming the system.  All good.  After exactly one minute after disarming, the blue lights turn off, the cameras stop recording, and two of the cameras' shutters close.  However, the camera's shutter facing our entrance remains open for an additional two minutes before closing.  Why would this be?  What purpose does it serve?  Should this be considered a software bug?

Hi @The_Popper,

Your indoor cameras should only record for a minute after your system is disarmed. Do you happen to know if there is any motion around the camera facing your entrance during this time? If the cameras continue to sense motion after the disarming event, they will continue to record.

@emily_s , thanks for the reply. I just checked the associated timeline video. It’s exactly one minute long. However, the shutter remained open 2 more minutes with no blue recording light. I timed it!  Just wondering why it doesn’t snap shut after the first minute.

@The_Popper Thanks for these additional details! It sounds like the shutter on that camera is staying stuck open. Generally, resetting the camera can help resolve this issue. If you visit the How to Reset Your Smart Alarm Wireless Indoor Security Camera article, we go over the steps to perform a reset.

I have also forwarded your case details over to our engineering team to look into deeper and to figure out what is causing this behavior. A member of the team should reach out to you soon to help further!
