It does sound like your camera is online (that's why it was able to pick up the motion). But when it tried to send the recording through your home's WiFi connection, it had trouble. So we'll need to troubleshoot the WiFi to make sure that it's working properly. We've got a guide on the Help Center that can take you through it.
