Remove one property from a two property account?

It looks like I have two properties listed under my account, but in the app, only one is active (I only have one property I want monitored) and I'd like to remove one of them.  Is this possible?  I can't find instructions on how to do this and it's not listed as an option under settings or similar in the app.  Thanks!

We don't typically delete inactive locations, because there are records attached (for example, payments records, etc.). But you have the option of hiding them from view.

  1. You'll need to log into the webapp through a browser (this cannot be done through the smartphone app).
  2. Navigate to Menu > Manage Account.
  3. Under Protected location, select the checkbox next to each property that you wish to hide.

The changes should be reflected immediately.

Hi! Were you attempting to hide a location that is currently still active? The hiding feature is available only for locations that are fully canceled.

Apparently, they are not canceled. How do I do that?

@ cwnemechek Simplisafe never deletes a location. It will "hide it" so it won't appear. From experience I can tell you this has caused me and some other members of my family, neighbors etc who own their separate systems experience some issues, but are not serious. (ie shipping address.   I would call simplisafe support and discuss it with an agent. Once you provide your safe word, quiz the agent on the active address. I did this once and the agent got it wrong. A brief discussion with a supervisor got it properly addressed.

I chatted up support and they said you'd have to call in order to have an address removed, no option for DIY:

"We understand that you want to remove a property under your account.

Unfortunately, you'll have to contact us over the phone for this."

Bad design, so let me understand this , a person can create a property thru the app but can't remove it, what if you spelled it wrong or no longer have it , or make duplicate, engineers need fix this

agree! They want you to call (and wait off course) then they will try to offer many upgrades etc. annoying !!!!
