Push Notification Delay
We have experienced delayed "Arming" and door lock notifications for the last week. The SS app also takes a long time to update and show the correct status once we leave our home. I assumed it was a wifi issue, but yesterday I put our system in test mode and received all critical alerts immediately. Could our delays and glitches be a result of the update?

We are still experiencing issues with 2.18.
We are still experiencing delayed "Arming" and door lock notifications. When we leave home, the SS app takes a long time to update, sometimes we will get a notification that our system has been set to "Away" and then 10 minutes later we get a notification that our doors have been locked (which should happen at the same time). When I put our system in test mode, we received all critical alerts immediately.
Another glitch we have found is that when we leave the house and the system counts down to "Away," we open the app and it will always restart the timer to 60 seconds.
I called customer service yesterday, and they reset our basestation, which seemed to resolve the issues for a little bit, but we are now back to delayed notifications and random glitches. Any advice? Any fixes coming?

@jhunterboschert We converted your comment into its own post to troubleshoot further here.
Do you only notice this behavior when your system has been armed and the Smart Lock is locked? And do the timestamps on your timeline show the correct time when the system was armed and the Smart Lock is unlocked?
We would first recommend clearing any app cache by removing the SimpliSafe app from your phone and then redownload it to see if that clears up the issue. But if not, we would want to inspect the location of the Base Station next.
To help with its communication, the Base Station should be placed in a central area of your home. We do not recommend hiding the Base Station away in something like a closet or cabinet, as that can impact its connection to other devices and the mobile app. Similarly, the Base Station should be elevated at least 3 feet off the ground, and be placed on a non-dense surface like glass or wood.
