iPad app won't install

I am a new video doorbell customer. Model number is SSDB3. I don't have a system, just have the basic doorbell camera. 

We have an iPad Mini 4 with the latest compatible OS (15.8.3). The SimpliSafe app won't install. The iPad says it requires OS version 16.0 or later, although SimpliSafe's chatbot says it requires 15.0 or later.

There's got to be a solution for this. Obviously there's a very recent SimpliSafe app version that works with this iPad. How do install the previous version?

@timothy55 apologies, it appears that you were given incorrect information. The SimpliSafe mobile app does require iOS devices to run iOS 16, 17, or 18. Unfortunately, iOS 15 or later is no longer supported. 

 

The App Store only has the most recent version of the mobile app available. Previous versions of the app are not available for download.
