Help with app notifications

Hello everyone,

Lately I have noticed that my push notifications don't always alert with the tone. I get all the notifications, but sometimes it will sound and other times it won't. It is random and not specific to one piece of equipment. I have tried uninstalling and installing the app, turning the notifications off/on, and turning the sound alert on/off. Nothing has seemed to work. Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have an android phone (Google Pixel 6a), and this issue is recent. maybe, 1-2 weeks ago.

Hello @cgarcia024,

 

Have you only noticed this with the SimpliSafe® mobile app, or do any other apps on your device exhibit this same behavior from time to time?

 

And when you receive a push notification from SimpliSafe®, but there was no notification tone, have you ever noticed what battery percentage your phone was at? If the battery is low and the phone enters Battery Saver mode, it can reduce some of the phone's performance in an effort to conserve battery life. 

 

But if none of the above pertains to your case, can you please let us know which version of the SimpliSafe® app your phone is running so we can investigate further.

It is only with the Simplisafe App. The battery is 80% or more (I don't like to keep it low). The version the phone is running is 7.43.0
