Doorbell
When will SimpliSafe fix the doorbell from unwanted motion detection and
notifications? It's set to people only but detects cars and other vehicles.
Even though I have the area blocked off on the app, SimpliSafe sent out a replacement for me, but I'm still having the same issue.
This is a software issue, not a doorbell issue. There needs to be a software update.
I promise I'm not the only one complaining about it.
no other big companies have the same issue.

i get 100+ notifications a day just from cars driving by.

Hi @carsondreed7,
Could the Video Doorbell be picking up on an object that it believes is a person? Are there any tall flag poles or trash cans in its field of view that it's mistaking for a person? If there are, it may help to move either the object out of the doorbell's field of view, or slightly adjust the doorbell's view using the included Vertical Angle Bracket.
Our engineering team is also working on improving the Video Doorbell with its next update.
