base station works for awhile and then starts to chime
Base station indicates loss of power and that I am on battery backup. We have power, I replaced the AC adapter....work for a bit and the same thing occured.

@mforsman94 You posted that you replaced your power supply; was that with another SimpliSafe power supply that came with your base? If not, I would call support and get a replacement to keep it all original. That said, is the base plugged into a power strip? If so, try and plug it directly into a wall outlet, less the power strip or extension cord. You can also try a hard boot on the base (Search in the support area for directions if you need it. Finally, all else fails, call for support.
if you get a chance, post your outcome here if you get a chance.

@mforsman94 We are echoing Captain11 here - is the Base Station still plugged into a replacement power cord from us? If it is, try plugging the Base Station into a different outlet to see if this behavior continues. We do not recommend plugging the Base Station into an outlet that is controlled by a switch, as that may impact its power supply if it is ever turned off in error.
