@samcarol The SimpliSafe mobile app is only available for download through the Google Play Store for Android devices, or the App Store for iOS devices. Unfortunately, it is not available on Kindles.

You'd have to experiment at your own and you're Kindles risk. The SS app only supports Android and iOS.
However, depending on your Kindle there are some ways to load the play store. They are at their core, at least the older ones, Android based.
Do some searching on that, also might depend on your Kindle model.
I used Fire toolbox (google search) XDAforums.com, on a 2019 version of Fire HD-10, loaded the play store, blew out some Amazon junk, used it as a kiosk with Fully Kiosk Browser for Home Assistant.
Also be aware of the legalities if any that may or may not apply. And perhaps, voiding warranty.
It lasted two years and failed.🙄🤣 No more Kindles for me.
I believe later Kindle models were rumored to be moving away from the Fire OS (base Android OS) that my HD-10 had, to something Amazon, whether true is unknown.
And lastly, I never tested the SS app on the HD-10, had no reason to, so after all that effort it might not run anyhow.
It might be easier if affordable, to check into low end Androids but be sure of general compatibility if you must view on a tablet. SS app may be persnickety on some generic Androids.
And the SS app isn't optimized for landscape, even though I can force landscape on my Samsung tablet and use it.
PS: You might be able to use the web login on the Kindle, but its no app nor polished either.
