App not automatically Refreshing

When I open the app I have to pull down on the page to get it to refresh so I have an accurate reflection of whether my system is armed or not. Shouldn’t this be automatic?

Hi @johnsonrn ,

The system will indeed send back status updates on a regular basis. But if you want to have the most up-to-date info, that's what the manual refresh is for.

@bfreeze341​ On the Overview page in the SimpliSafe mobile app, you can drag the screen down and release it to refresh the app. You can also tap the refresh 🔄 icon on the top left corner of the Base Station Settings or Device Settings pages in the mobile app to refresh the app.

@davey_d​ how often does the system auto refresh. I opened the app today and it showed the last refresh was four days ago.

@franceswilliamsbusiness​ do you happen to arm and disarm your system regularly? Certain events like that are what prompt the update.

I just bought and installed a SimpliSafe system, all of my sensor devices status were not updated even though the secret msgs were sent. There is no refresh button in Base station setting nor device status in its SimpliSafe app. It's a major bug in my opinion and this bug makes Simplisafe security system useless. I plan to return the system
