Dark Mode for the SimpliSafe Smartphone App

Hi folks,

 

We’re super excited to let you know that a popular feature request from our Community is coming soon to your smartphone device - Dark Mode!

 

Here’s how to enable Dark Mode on your iOS device:

  1. Log into the SimpliSafe™ App for iOS

  2. On the top left, select the ☰ three-bar Menu

  3. Select Account Settings

  4. Under Personalization, select App Appearance

  5. Select Dark Mode

 

This initial release of Dark Mode will still need some tweaks over the coming months, and your feedback (and bug reports!) will help us make it even better. If you come across any readability issues, or anything else that doesn’t look right, please feel free to take a screenshot and post in this thread.

Hi all,

The above article has been updated to reflect that Dark Mode is now available for both iOS and Android.

To enable, you just need to make sure that you have the latest version of the SimpliSafe® App, and follow the instructions on the Help Center.

@davey_d I smiled when I downloaded the app last week on my lowly Google Pixel 8. App looks and works great, however, please ask the dev team to hold down those Apple fan boys and gals and always, always deliver new features to Android first. :-)  Yeah, I am a bit biased.

@simplisafe_admin Okay, a win for your "Apple drones" on the engineering team but let's make sure "in the works" isn't measured in months, let alone quarters, for us Android users! :-)
