Smoke Detector Listener?

Does SimpliSafe have a device that would detect the sound from the fire alarm in my senior living apartment and then immediately send an alert to my iPhone via the facilities WiFi?

Hi @mdenman, 

We do not have a sensor that listens for other fire alarms, but we do sell our own Smoke Detector. When it detects smoke in a building, a notification will be sent to your phone. For more information, visit this page on our website.

The listing device is something you should do. I almost switched to arlo or ring because of this.

@emily_s​ - A listener is a absolute necessity.  Current building codes require interconnected smoke/fire alarms across all levels and additions for an address.  We added a 2 story ADU and it has to be hooked into our main house with dectors in every bedroom.  All alarms must be interconnected.  This makes the Simplisafe alarm worthless.  However, it is the only one that is connected to the monitoring center.  Y'all need to modernize.
