You can place the Glassbreak Sensor on a shelf, or mount it on a wall at any height! The sensor should just face the window that you want to protect and be within 20 feet of it. But if your window has heavy curtains that could muffle sound, we recommend placing the sensor 5-10 feet away so it's closer.
