Entry Sensor Not Responding Error

Why does this occur? "Sensor error: An Entry Sensor Family N Wind is not responding".

@hsobel The "Entry Sensor Not Responding" error can be caused by a low battery which needs to be replaced, or the sensor is too far away from the Base Station and should be moved closer. 

I would first try replacing the battery in your Entry Sensor to see if that clear out this error. If it does not, I would put your system into Test Mode and test this sensor to determine if the Base Station needs to be moved closer to it. How do you delete "entry sensor not responding" from the keypad after you check it in test mode and it responds.

@lwmosher On the Keypad, there should be an X icon on the right side of the screen. If you press the right arrow on the Keypad, that should clear out the message. 

 

But if the message does not go away, try removing the Entry Sensor from your system and then add it back again.
