Door sensors for detached garage and FROG
Has anyone had success or issues with putting sensors on doors for a detached garage and FROG? of course base station is in the house- just wanting to know if anyone has experienced a distance issue between the 2 and what that was. Thanks.

Hi @slburris59,
The sensors in your detached garage should certainly be able to communicate with the Base Station in your home. Interference may reduce the strength of the sensors' signal - like if there are any thick walls or dense objects in the path between those sensors and the Base Station. If you run into any communication issues with those sensors, try adjusting the placement of the Base Station so it is on the side of your house closest to the garage.

You can also hack the sensors, if interested I'll provide a link or buy pre hacked sensors on Etsy with wire dangling off the internal sensor antenna, if playing musical base doesn't work out.
