What does device not responding code mean?

Hi @Cplummer, welcome to the community!
Are you receiving an error that indicates the device on your system? Typically, it should say "Sensor not responding" or "Camera not responding", etc.
If you encounter a sensor that isn't responding, it can generally mean one of two things.
1. The sensor batteries may be low
2. The sensor may be having trouble communicating with the Base Station, usually due to range or wireless interference.

I just replaced the batteries in the devices and they are still not responding

@jime52213 if your sensor has been disconnected for a long time, the secure connection might have become unsynced. You'll just want to remove the sensor from your system, and re-add. You can follow these instructions to remove a sensor, and these instructions to re-add.
This actually worked ...Remove it from the keypad, and re-add and rename. I had work done on door
and everything stopped working but I kept trying things and ths works!!
