Alerts when a door is opened (and system off)

I just installed my system and activated the interactive monitoring.  I have two questions/concerns and wanted to see if anyone has figured out how to get this to work, or if this is even a feature:

1) Is there any way to get the system to verbally announce which door is opening instead of just an alert letting you know a door is open?  I have found some articles of others asking about this and it doesn't seem to be a feature but wanted to make sure.  This isn't a deal breaker for me but the second "might" be.

2) Is there a way to get the app to notify you whenever any door sensor is activated and which one has been opened when the system is set to "off"?  I'm talking about just a notification from the app, not texts/emails.  One of the reasons I wanted a system is so that I know if/when someone opens a door even when we're home.  Using the home function can be useful at night, but during the day, I don't know if it makes sense with spouse and kids coming in and out of the house constantly.  I've tried to search for this but haven't seem to have found a definitive answer.

Thanks for any input!

Answer 1) No, the base station does not announce the entry sensor name when a door or window is opened - it just chimes.

Answer 2) Add a second entry sensor to each door you want to monitor and set them to secret alert. Secret alerts function in all modes - off / home / away. Deselect "Activity" for your email and text notifications if you don't want all of the clutter.

For item 2), it seems like you can set off mode to secret alert, and home/away modes to alarm?

Good Call @WS729 - I had forgotten that the senor function can be set differently for each mode with SS3
