2 sensors can’t stay connected

Hi there,

have two entry sensors that simply won’t stay connected. If I remove the battery and put it back they will come on line and then a day or so later go offline. The window they are on is the furthest from the base station of all the sensors. Roughly 100 feet or so. They are also in an out building. There is a sensor on the door of that building that stays connected which is maybe 15 feet closer to the base station.

Any thoughts on helping the signal. I know these reply on radio frequency. Is there a booster that SimpliSafe sells?

If base station can't be moved closer without losing other sensors, there a hack, soldering a wire to the sensor antenna. If interested either search or comment and I'll help look it up. Voids warranty on sensors though.

At $14 per sensor I’ll take my chance. Ya, if you have something that shows the antenna connections that would be appreciated

@Churchill7 I cant link it they'll make it private. Might anyhow. Just copy and paste. Theres a seller on Etsy that pre hacks them and sells them for $20 or so. If they remove this I'll DM you, if thats private. Lol

That link shows the old SS2 and SS3 sensors at the bottom. There's a vid somewhere on YouTube a well, personally I'd order them myself, too much work for an old guy.
