Multiple times a day, while I'm home with the alarm off, my indoor cameras "click". They don't appear to be opening and closing the shutter (the reflective metal is still reflective), but what is it doing?

Ok... If It's the nightvision switching on, then why is my camera clicking when there is ZERO change to the ambient lighting? My camera faces my front door with an overhead light between the camera and the door. My camera clicks multiple times
